Cutting edge science in action

We have started our first collaboration with the world leading team in the Genetic Therapy Accelerator Centre at UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology. The Centre combines laboratory and clinical expertise focused on neurological disorders, their mechanisms of disease and RNA, AAV Cellular Myology therapy expertise. The Centre facilitates cutting-edge gene therapy programs to pursue discovery of novel therapies using RNA, AAV and Cellular Myology technologies, with identification and refinement of target for therapeutic intervention. There is deep expertise in developing AAV-based gene therapies, with a group led by Prof Jo Ng; and on RNA-based therapies, with a group led by Dr Sara Aguti and a two-year research development of AAV and ASO approaches are under way in parallel for ASNSD.
